CHOICES tell the STORY
Memorial Theatre is dedicated to creating opportunities for students to explore theatre, encouraging the growth of students as artists, and celebrating student achievement in theatre. We are proud members of the International Thespian Society (Troupe 2980).
OUR PROGRAM
We offer classes in theatrical performance (Theatre 1-4 and Advanced Theatre) and technical theatre (Technical Theatre 1-4).
We produce three main stage shows each year: Fall Play, Winter Musical (in collaboration with Band and Orchestra), and Spring One Act Play (UIL Contest).
We produce two acting showcases and two improv shows each year in our Black Box Theatre.
We compete in the Texas Thespian Festival, International Thespian Festival, the Tommy Tune Awards, and the UIL One Act Play Contest.
We look for additional opportunities to collaborate with other performing arts disciplines, including supporting their concerts and shows with technical elements.
